QPS nutrients are formulated in separate A&B parts to prevent potential reactivity of their elements in concentrated form. A reaction at this ratio could lead to improper functioning of the elements and/or nullify their effect. To ensure optimal nutrient performance, we advise filling your reservoir halfway with water before adding the nutrient solution. Additionally, adding the second half of water after the nutrient solution is added facilitates proper mixing of the solution.
