Our Indian eggplant seedlings are vigorous with an open habit, but good leaf coverage. Fruit are smaller than your typical eggplant, dark purple-black with shiny skin. Indian eggplants are the perfect size for stuffing, roasting, or stir-frying into a variety of delicious dishes. Indian eggplants are often labelled as Baby Eggplants in commercial markets due to their small size. It is suitable for greenhouse and open field growing.

🌡️ CONDITIONS Warm, sunny location with well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Prefers consistent watering at base of plant and avoid watering the leaves to prevent fungal leaf diseases. Keep moist as they don’t like to dry out and they prefer growing conditions and staking similar to tomatoes.
