Our variety of Broccoli produces quality heads up to 120mm in diameter, requiring minimal trimming. Leave the broccoli growing after cutting the main head for additional crops that side shoot. Once the broccoli flowers, it is generally past eating as the flavour gets a bit overpowering and the plant gets very woody. Harvest them sooner rather than later.
