Philodendron White Wizard thrives in bright, indirect light. A few hours of mild sun in the early hours of the morning are good but keep this plant away from intense sun rays. It needs a minimum of 6 hours of bright indirect light for better variegation. The variegated regions of a plant’s foliage are devoid of chlorophyll, the pigment responsible for giving plants their green colour and also for producing food through photosynthesis.
The variegation in Philodendron White Wizard is not stable, so it’s normal for the leaves will revert to all green. However, you can prevent that by pruning it back to the last section with variegation on the leaf and stem. Also, you can increase the pink colouring by keeping your plant in bright indirect light.
Remember, to grow a beautiful houseplant, you have to have the right combination of LIGHT, proper watering practices, well-drained soil, a proper-sized pot, and regular fertilisation for best results!
